Hi, I’m Shanavia.

I’m a self-taught photographer based in Columbia, South Carolina — a wife, mama to my sweet daughter, and bonus mama. I work from home full-time while raising my daughter, and building a photography business rooted in intention, balance, and faith.



Motherhood has changed the way I see everything. It’s taught me to slow down, to notice the in-between moments, and to value memories that might otherwise go unseen. That perspective naturally flows into my work. I don’t just take photos — I preserve seasons, emotions, and milestones that deserve to be remembered.


My approach is relaxed and meaningful. I intentionally take on a limited number of clients each month so I can give every session the time, care, and creativity it deserves — while also protecting space for my family and the life I love. For me, photography isn’t about rushing or overbooking. It’s about connection.


Most of my growth has come from word of mouth and repeat clients, which is something I’ll never take for granted. Being trusted to capture some of life’s most meaningful moments is an honor I carry seriously.

What types of services do you offer?

We are currently specializing in Weddings, Events, Lifestyle, and Detailed Photography. If you are looking for anything Commerical, or Newborn Photography based, we will recommend someone for you.


We are also offering visual content with sessions for an additional fee, and a 2-hour minimum for a coffee bar to be hosted at your event, wedding, etc. where it will service based and not self-serve.

How do I book a photography session with your team?

Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out to us through our website, or email, and let us know the type of session you're interested in. We'll guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, we're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. We are also open to helping to choose a location as well.

How long does a typical photo session last?

The duration for a typical session like a lifestyle session ranges from an hour, or two. For detail session, that is equal to an hour of capturing your amazing work. Events are to be booked for a minimum of two hours, and weddings vary from the time span needed to capture your special day.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. Our editing process typically takes up to 2 weeks (7-14 days), depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. For details, we typically get that out within 48 hours of being captured. Weddings of course take a little more time to edit, previews will be given within 48 hours of wedding day, and up to 6 weeks to receive a full edited wedding gallery. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances. No deposit will be refunded.
